Downloadable Drawings for the Stickley Poppy Table
  Item No. #PWPT01
Price: $3.00

Quantity:

These plans are from the December 2007 issue of Popular Woodworking magazine. These pattern drawings for the Gustav Stickley Poppy Table were developed from photographs of the original piece. Working with full-size patterns to layout and cut the intricate and delicate curved shapes of the top, shelf and legs will speed the process and make it more accurate. For the magazine article, the drawings were printed full size on a 24"-wide plotter.

These same drawings were used to make these downloadable patterns in Adobe PDF format. These can be printed on standard 8-1/2" X 11" sheets on any printer. Match lines are included on each sheet, and the first sheet of the file is an overall drawing that shows where each page of the pattern fits. After printing, simply trim the sheets, match the designated lines and tape the sheets together.

These full-size patterns can then be used as described and seen in the magazine article. They can be used to check sizes and angles of the five-sided top hub, legs and shelf to ensure sturdy joints. The patterns can be adhered to wood with spray adhesive before cutting the shapes, and easily removed after cutting. A project such as this involves a lot of work, and eliminating the work of laying out all the parts makes using these full-size patterns a tremendous advantage.

After purchasing these plans for $3, you will be e-mailed a link to download the file, which is smaller than 1 mb. If you encounter technical difficulties for some reason, the link will allow you to try repeatedly (though we have very few customers who report problems).
